Business law is the primary area of our practice.  In this area of practice, our law firm manages litigation as well as other types of legal risks and exposure for local and out of state businesses. Our law firm also defends companies, corporations, boards of directors, shareholders, and business men and women in connection with complex and contested matters.  Additionally, we will represent our clients as plaintiffs when the circumstances are appropriate to prosecute illegal business activity. We are also able to provide quality general legal consultation to businesses, business owners, managers, corporate directors and officers, and various types of boards. In this capacity, our law firm can serve not only as a litigator for a particular business organization, but also as outside general counsel to certain types of business organizations, depending on the size of that organization and its legal needs.

We also recognize that litigation may not be the best option for a given matter. Businesses often require litigation deterrence to avoid financial exposure, publicity, and other uncertainties that accommodate litigation.  In the area of litigation deterrence, we will carefully counsel businesses or persons out of a potentially litigious situation or during the contracting phase of a business arrangement or joint venture agreement in order to deter future unnecessary and expensive litigation.
